Wireless Access Point

As a rule of thumb, one enterprise access point covers 30–50 concurrent users in an open plan office. Dense environments, multiple floors, or areas with thick walls require one AP per zone to maintain strong signal and performance.

WiFi 6 (802.11ax) delivers faster speeds, lower latency, and better performance in dense device environments compared to WiFi 5. It is highly recommended for offices, hotels, and schools with many simultaneous users.

Indoor access points are optimised for climate-controlled environments. Outdoor access points have weatherproof housings (IP67 rating) for car parks, courtyards, open warehouses, and outdoor hospitality areas.
